Primary 6 went on a walk  to visit Dun Deardail up Glen Nevis. The walk was 10 kilometres with 314m of ascent. Outside Classroom Day

To mark outside classroom day P1/2N took their learning outside for the day.  We played phonic games to help to blend sounds, practised essential words, wrote from an insects point of view, had a Gaelic singing lesson, planted vegetables and created some natural art work. Mini beast hunting

We had a great time on Wednesday when Michelle Melville, a countryside ranger, visited our class and we went mini beast hunting and pond dipping in the school playground.  We found lots of different creatures such as cut worms, snails, centipedes and Callan even caught a butterfly!
