Building Foundations for the Future

Support for Learning

Mrs Thomson is our Support for Learning teacher.

JT ASN-page-001Mrs Thomson works with a team of Pupil Support Assistants, teachers and     parents to support pupils across the school who may need additional support with their learning.

Every child is different and any support provided should meet their individual needs. There are lots of ways we can support children, such as:

  • Small group support
  • Time with Additional support staff
  • Adapting the curriculum and the way they are taught
  • Assistance from other professionals e.g. Speech and Language Therapist, School Nurse or Educational psychologist
  • Equipment and technology

If you have any concerns about your child and their learning then please come and speak to someone in school; the class teacher, Mrs Thomson or Mr Thomson.
