Building Foundations for the Future

More Science Investigations

We have been continuing to develop our scientific inquiry skills in P4 and P4/5.

Firstly we designed and created Lego bridges. They had to be strong enough to hold the weight of three dumper truck toys. Every group was successful in this task.

We then learned about how Egyptians used to mummify people. After that we mummified some apples. We carved our apples into skull shapes before packing them tightly into natron. After a week we excavated our mummified skulls. We loved seeing how they had shrunk and the water had been removed by the natron.
