Singing and Whistle-Playing in P5

Primary 5 have been having a fantastic time in their music lessons this term. They’ve been learning songs in Scots, English and Gaelic, and have also been developing their whistle-playing skills. The class have shown great enthusiasm and creativity, even creating their own song!

Library Visit

Primary 5 enjoyed their visit to the local library, taking the opportunity to explore the books and games on offer before selecting a book to take home and read.  

Lundavra Primary ‘Fly into Christmas’

What an amazing group of children we have in Lundavra! They excelled themselves during both performances of this year’s pantomime, ‘Fly into Christmas’.  We are all so extremely proud of every single child.

Primary 5, 6 and 7 visit to Glenfinnan

On Tuesday, Primaries 5, 6 and 7 visited Glenfinnan to learn about the Jacobites, the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the natural area.  This was with the help and support of West Highland Museum, to whom we owe a huge debt of thanks for organising the day.  The weather did not dampen our spirits.

P4/5 Shinty National Qualifier

Primary 4/5 – Shinty  National Qualifier   Well done to all of our shinty players who represented the school at the National Qualifiers on Saturday. There were teams from all across Lochaber. They played some brilliant shinty and worked very well as a team.

January Snowy Days

The pupils loved getting out in the snow today at break and lunchtime. It was great to see so many pupils dressed for our Lochaber  winter  weather.
