Gravity

Thanks to the weather, the children were learning about gravity. Gravity is force that makes unsupported objects fall to the ground. Can you see the gravitational effects in these photos?

Food Bank

After visiting Fort William library, P7 popped into the Food Bank to hand in some items.

The Victorian Era – The gramophone

The P7s were enjoying playing their own music out in the library on a gramophone not and iPhone!

Shrove Tuesday… but on a Friday!

As the school was closed on Shrove Tuesday, the children made their pancakes on Friday!

Weight and Capacity

P3/4 have been learning about weight and capacity and carried out a range of activities through the week They ended the week using the taught skills to measure out ingredients to make pancakes and enjoyed eating them on Friday afternoon!

Singing and Whistle-Playing in P5

Primary 5 have been having a fantastic time in their music lessons this term. They’ve been learning songs in Scots, English and Gaelic, and have also been developing their whistle-playing skills. The class have shown great enthusiasm and creativity, even creating their own song!
